Abstract: To meet the need for production of alloy steel boiler tubes, a roller-hearth heat treatment furnace is built up by Jintang Branch, Pangang Group Chengdu Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. Described here in the article are the design and operation result of and economic/social benefits as produced by the said furnace, covering the furnace type, the combustion system, the instrumental automation and engineering of the electrical and mechanical systems, etc.
