Abstract: Described in the paper is the development of domestic stainless steel tube manufacturing industry, focusing on such issues as analysis of the features, types and consumption and market forecast of stainless steel tubes as used in the energy generation and manufacturing fields like oil & gas exploration, petrochemical industry, chemical industry and thermal/nuclear power stations. comparison of characteristics between different stainless steel tubes as produced with different manufacturing processes, and the development trends of the manufacturing technologies for both the seamless and weld stainless steel tubes.
