Abstract:
In regard of an edge milling machine of a certain company, since the left cutting tools and the right cutting tools are separately driven by a left oil cylinder and a right oil cylinder, the whole welding line needs to be shut down and the strip steel width after milling needs to be adjusted during size changing at the forming section and when transversal weld passing the milling machine, which results in more degraded tubes.The analysis indicates that, without changing the existing mechanical equipment, by improving the adjustment control method for strip steel width after milling, the function of dynamic adjustment of left and right cutting tool positions is realized when a transversal weld is passing the milling machine, which effectively increases the yield of HFW welding pipes.
