Abstract: Briefed in the paper are the responsibilities and functions of TC183,the standards subject to the management thereby and the national standard systems for steel tubes,including the fact standard system and ideal standard system.The advantages and disadvantages of the fact system are analyzed in terms of systematicness,coordinativeness and completeness,which lays a basis for building up the national steel tube standard ideal system.
