Abstract: Elaborated in the article is the demand for the OCTG products in the 12th FYP period,and the current situation of the domestic OCTG industry. It is pointed out that the OCTG domestic market demand mainly features firstly huge supply quantity,and secondly development of both hi-performance type and economic type pipes. Specific proposals concerning R & D of these two types of OCTG products are put forward.
