三辊联合穿轧机和四辊行星轧管机浅析

    A Review on 3-Roll Combined Mill(3RCM) and 4-Roll Planetary Mill (KRM)

    • 摘要: 阐述了两种型式的三辊联合穿轧机,评述了3RCM型联合穿轧机的优点及其适用范围;从介绍STP轧管工艺出发,对其核心设备KRM四辊行星轧管机进行了评述。指出了其前身PSW三辊行星轧管机的失败及其原因,这两种斜轧延伸轧管工艺的发展前途值得注意,它对轧管工艺整体的影响目前尚难确定。

       

      Abstract: Tow types of the 3-roll combined pipe mill or 3RCM is described, and the advantages and the application scope thereof illustrated. Based on the STP tube-rolling technology, an overall evaluation of the KRM 4-roll planetary tube-rolling mill is made in the paper. It is pointed out that the unsuccessful running of the PSW mill, i.e., the prototype of the KRM mill is mainly due to its improper construction. The conclusion by the author is that although their significance as for the development of the tube-rolling technology as a whole couldn′t be ascertained now, the potential of the two branches of the cross-rolling elongation process is so worth paying attention by the tube-rolling sector.
