    Analysis of Causes for Ovality of Shell as Rolled by Φ89 mm Mandrel Mill

    • 摘要: 分析了半浮动芯棒连轧管机组连轧荒管椭圆度过大的产生原因,认为其连轧荒管椭圆度过大是芯棒润滑不良、工模具表面质量欠佳、工艺参数调整不当等多种因素共同作用的结果。通过改善芯棒润滑条件和合理分配变形量可有效减小连轧荒管的椭圆度。

       

      Abstract: Analyzed the elements responsible for the excessive ovality of the shell as rolled by the semi-floating mandrel mill.As a result,it is concluded that the problem of the said excessive shell ovality is brought about jointly by such elements namely,insufficient lubrication of the mandrel,poor surface quality of the operational tools,and improper setting of the process data.Accordingly,the ovality can be well reduced by means of bettering the lubrication conditions of the mandrel,and appropriately distributing the deformation amounts.
