Abstract: The paper involves a discussion with respect to the market demand for home-made stainless steel welded pipes and the situation of equipment import and new technology application concerning this kind of product,emphasizing that the import of the equipment for manufacture of stainless steel welded pipes should aim at building up complete production facilities with the latest technology in this field to turn out quality sought-after categories of the product.
