Abstract: The criticality values of the major corrosive medium for the nickel-base alloy tube are elaborated.The effects of the related major alloying elements and their corrosion resistant mechanism are summarized.Also presented here in the paper are the present development situations concerning the CRA oil well tubes at home and abroad, information about such products as manufactured by relevant steel tube plants, including chemical composition, mechanical property requirements and so on, and the analysis of the corrosion product film of the nickel-base alloy as performed by certain domestic steel tube plant with the autoclave under simulated well conditions.Moreover, the evaluation of corrosion resistance of the nickel-base alloy is conducted based on the said analysis.
