Abstract: The article presents an introduction regarding the equipment revamp of small diameter seamless tube-rolling plant at keihin works, NKK, which involves the addition of a sizing mill and a hot saw. Moreover the employment of the new rolling schedule results in higher yield, per ton of steel.
