Abstract:
A preliminary probe was conducted into the effect by the warm-straightening process on anti-crash property of P110 oil-well steel tubes by means of measuring, comparing and analyzing of the dimensions and residual stress of the tube after warm-straightening treatment. The result shows that with the currently-employed warm-straightening process, after the first straightening the tube’s ovality can be reduced by 0.64%,and after the second one,by 0.04%,and that after warm-straightening,the tube body surf actal tangential residual stress is mainly tensile stress, and the axial residual stress of the tube is tensile-compressive stress which distributes so unevenly.
