高强度起重机臂架管用管坯的质量控制

    Quality Control for Tube for Fabrication of High-strength Crane Gib Arm

    • 摘要: 介绍了高强度起重机臂架管用管坯的质量控制方法。通过控制入炉废钢质量,电弧炉冶炼全程采用泡沫渣操作确保了钢水质量;精炼造高碱度白渣深度脱硫、窄成分控制保证了性能稳定;VD真空处理去气去夹杂,提高钢水纯净度;连铸吹氩保护,碱性覆盖剂吸附夹杂物;合理的过热度与拉坯速度配比、一冷和二冷制度,确保了铸坯良好的低倍组织和表面质量。用此管坯生产出的高强度起重机臂架管满足用户要求。

       

      Abstract: Elaborated in the paper are the features of quality control for the tube for fabrication of histrength crane gib arm. Quality of the molten steel is ensured by means of properly-controlled quality of the scrape steel charge, and employing the full-process foam slag melting technique for the EAF process;property consistency of the steel is obtained with such techniques as sufficient desulfurization by forming hi-basic white slag, and tight control of the chemical element contents during the refining process;the steel cleanness is ensured by degassing and inclusion-removal with VD process;for the continuous casting process, Ar-shielding is used, while the inclusions in the steel are drawn out by the basic covering flux;the good macrostructure and satisfactory surface quality of the billets are ensured by well-controlled matching of the superheat level with the strand-withdrawing speed, and the appropriate first and secondary cooling systems. The crane gib arm as made of the tube is up to relevant customer requirements.
