Abstract: Described in the article is a new process for producing square, rectangular steel tubes and other non-sysmmetric sectioned shaped steel tubes, the push-rolling torming process.The deformation characteristics of steel tube being rolled with the said process are analysed. Relevant operational practice has proven that the said new process is advantageous in producing largesized and heavy-walled shaped steel tubes with higher accuracy.
