    Control Difficulties and Critical Points Concerning Manufacture of Hi-precision Drill-purpose Pipe with Assel Mill

    • 摘要: 介绍了厚壁钻具用管对几何尺寸精度的要求,结合Assel机组工艺特点,分析了其生产控制难点及要点。分析认为:Assel机组生产高精度钻具用管时,其减径量大、轧制过程抖动剧烈,微张力定(减)径机架的减径量分配和轧制参数设置难,且内径公差要求高;采用减径轧制,将减径量分配在穿孔机、Assel轧管机、定径机3道工序,降低穿孔主机及轧机速度,增加保护导套装置等措施,可提高厚壁钻具用管壁厚精度及外径精度,使内径尺寸满足要求。

       

      Abstract: Described here in the paper are the requirements for geometric dimensional accuracy of the heavywall drill-purpose pipe.Also analyzed on the basis of the process characteristics of the Assel pipe mill are the control difficulties and critical points concerning manufacturing the pipe.The analysis result reveals that in case of producing the said pipe with the Assel mill,it is rather difficult to set up the reduction amount distribution and the rolling parameters of the slight-stretch sizing(reducing) mill stand,and high inner diameter tolerance is required due to big reduction amount that causes dramatic trembling during the rolling operation.It is possible to improve on both the W.T.and O.D.accuracies of the heavy-wall drill-purpose pipe so as to meet the I.D.requirement by means of employing reduction-rolling process to distribute the reduction amount to the three main rolling units, i.e., the piercer,the Assel mill proper and the sizing mill,decreasing the running speeds of the piercing mill and the rolling mill proper,and adding preventive guide bush device,etc.
