Abstract: Introduced in the paper are the technological experiment alternatives and the experiment process conducted by Steel Tube Division,Chengde I & S Co.,Ltd.,which involves making mother tubes for further finish-rolling by means of cold-drawing process with existing facilities.Based on comparision between the experiment results of three different processes,one manufacturing process that is rather appropriate and capable of meeting specification for mother tubes for finish-rolling was chosen.
