Abstract: Cracks on inside wall of 1Cr18Ni9Ti shells and the effects of the chemical composition,α phase,piercing process of the shells on cracks are studied.The basic causes leading to inside cracks consist in whether there are rational shell heating and deformation,tool design and adjusting Parameters of piercing mills.
