Abstract:
It is known that in case of any difference between the actual operation data and the designed data of the linear-contact straightening roll, the roll's linear-contact characteristics is consequently damaged, which inevitably produces negative influence on the straightening quality. With mathematic method, a study is made in respect to the influence on the said linear contact damage extent by the deviation of a given value occurring during relevant adjustment and other data concerned.Based on the analysis, key points regarding the adjustment and design of the said roll are proposed.
