Abstract: Briefed in the article are the general situations of developments of Russian national economy and I & S industry in 2006.Elaborated are such aspects as the overall development situation of the steel tube-making industry, the situation concerning the production/operation and overseas-expanding of major steel tube-making groups, newly-built and technologically-upgraded steel tube-manufacturing equipment, and importation of advanced equipment from abroad, etc.
