Abstract: The article deals with several types of small-scale hot-rolling pipe mill plants for seamless steel tubes wholely China-designed/manufactured/tested since the 1970 s, covering process flow, equipment configuration/technical features, product characteristics as well as the operation of the mills.The author also predicts the development trend of the said mill plants.
