Abstract: The experimental investigations on the causes of wrinckles occurred on the surfaces of 1Cr18Ni9Ti seamless tubes shows that the wrinckles can be avoided by controlling chemical compositions, determining rational heat-treatment processes and selecting proper piercing parameters.
