Abstract: The application of pipeline in slurry transport and its technical development status are reviewed，in an order to discuss the problems exsisting in the application of weld tubes in slurry transport.The analysis shows that the design of slurry pipeline normallly refers to the technical and contruction specifications of oil and gas pipeline，but should also consider the charateristics of the slurry to be transported，the engineering environment and the construction condition etc.，to make more targeted improvements on such aspects as the tube type，the material and the evaluation etc..It is emphasized that the corrosion resistance of the materials in slurry transport pipeline should be taking into consideration，so as to tragetedly expand the application area of weld line pipes.
