Abstract:
Based on relevant theoretical analysis and physical evaluation test of the tubing,the residual strength of the tubing bearing conical corrosion pits is studied in this paper. The result shows that the depth of the corrosion pit mostly affects the failure performance of the tubing to resist against the internal pressure,less affects the tubing's collapse resistance against the external pressure,and at the least affects the tubing's tensile property. Employment of the corrosion pit uniform distribution method can better predict residual strength of the said tubing.
