Abstract: To improve the working conditions for steel tube hot-dip galvanizing, and enhance steel tube zinc-coating quality, a new steel tube hot-dip galvanizing line has been built up at Hengshui Steel Tube Plant, Hebei Province. The said line is equipped with a unique hydraulic manipulator for dip-galvanizing operation, in replacement of the conventional bulky rotary rake or screw type galvanization systems. The new operation line provides such advantages as simplified hardwares, improved galvanization process, better coating quality and reduced operation cost.
