Abstract: The oxalic acidation of the cold drawn stainless steel tubes is to form a film on the surface of the stainless steel tubes,which is the oxalic acidated film with strong adhesion consisted of sulfite and oxalate and is the lubrication carrier in cold processing.The essential oxalic acidation principle,the developed CL-3518 oxalic acidating agent,the basic parameters of the oxalic acidatiing process and the factors affecting the oxalic acidation quality are described.
