Abstract: Described in the paper are the operation process and hardware configuration of the control system of the facing-chamfering machine. Analyzed are the characteristics and functions of the FM354 servo-positioning module and the working principle of the square wave synchronous magneto. And detailed are the particular application of the said servo-positioning system to the machine as well as the design concepts and methods of the PLC control program and the movement program on the basis of the analyses.
