Abstract: The brief introduction concerns the chemical treatment process developed by Moskvosk Steel Tube Works,Russia for carbon steel tubes drawn with short-plug or non-plug process. The treatment process involves application of some new,highly effective coating and lubrication techniques and such tube-processing techniques as copper coating,phosphorization,neutralization and soaping,being capable of considerably improving quallity of the steel tubes and bendficial in working environment improvement and energy-saving.
