    Analysis of Precision of On-line Ultrasonic Flaw Detection of SAW Spiral Welded Pipe

    • 摘要: 简要介绍了螺旋埋弧焊管焊缝在线超声波自动探伤的方法,从探伤仪器和探头的性能匹配、探头贴附支撑机构的设计、探伤执行机构的响应与运行、耦合水的控制、探伤工艺的合理性、探伤操作人员的技术水平、各电气执行机构对超声波自动探伤的干扰、钢管的成型质量等8个方面分析了影响探伤准确性的各种原因,并提出相应的对策。

       

      Abstract: Described in the paper is the process of on-line automatic ultrasonic flaw detection of SAW spiral welded pipe, focusing on analysis of the different elements responsible for the detection precision which involves eight major aspects, namely, the function configuration of the detector and the probes, the design of the probe support mechanism, response/running of the actuator, control of water coupling, suitability of the detection process, professional qualification of the inspectors, interferences with the UT auto-inspection operation caused by different electrical actuating parts and the pipe-formation quality. Based on the said analysis, relevant countermeasures are proposed.
