Abstract
The photoelectric direct-reading spectrometer is used to determine the trace B in the linepipe as serving under the acidic and offshore conditions.Due to such efforts as optimizing the working conditions for the instrument, and self-making reference samples,a calibration curve for the range of 0.000 1%~0.000 8% content of element B is established, and used for piecewise fitting with the original curve to obtain a more accurate B content in the said B content range. The test result reveals that when the mass fraction of B is within the range of 0.000 1%~0.010%,and the line intensity presents as fine linear, the correlation coefficient is 0.999 5,and the liner regression coefficient is 0.000 06%.The precision and accuracy of the test results are investigated. As a result,it is identified that relative standard deviation RSD of the result is less than 5(n=10).The analysis results are consistent with the results as obtained from the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry method(ICP-MS).
