    Development of CB80H Casing for Thermal Recovery of Heavy Oil

    • Briefed in the paper is the casing damage mechanism of the casing for heavy oil thermal recovery,and summarized are the main aspects concerning the CB80H casing as used for the purpose of heavy oil thermal recovery,including the material design,the manufacturing process flow and the control processes for the key operation steps.Also analyzed are the physiochemical properties at room temperature and tensile properties at high temperature of the said casing.It is revealed via the analysis that as treated with the quenching+tempering process,the CB80H casing has fine-grained tempered sorbite structure,having proper performance to meet the applicable requirements.The CB80H casing has been used in batch in the heavy oil block of a certain domestic oil field.The pipes as produced have consistent quality,and the application effectiveness is good.
