    Python-based Parametric FEA of Premium Connection

    • Described here in the essay is a Python-based parametric method for the premium connection. The Python language is used to prepare the Abaqus parametric FEA program with which after the premium connection input parameters such as the dimension and deviations,the material properties,and the load values are called from the Excel,the whole processes of modeling of internal and external connection,meshing,loading,job submission,and post-processing analysis,etc can be automatically completed. Thanks to the said program,a lot of manual operations can be saved,and the whole process can be completed without doing anything except maintaining the Excel file. As a result compared with manual modeling operation,much more time is saved,the efficiency is greatly enhanced,and moreover the FEA of the premium connection is expected to be standardized.
