Effect by Sizing(Reducing) Temperature on Formation of TC4 Titanium Alloy Seamless Tube

Abstract
Analyzed with the Abaqus software are the influences by the initial rolling temperature on formation of the TC4 titanium alloy seamless tube,including influences on the geometric dimensions,temperature and strain etc.of the titanium tube.Also discussed here are the deformation status of the shell during the sizing(reducing)process,and the effect on the deformation instability of the tube by the initial rolling temperature.As a result it is revealed via the analysis and the discussion that in case of the initial rolling temperature as 880℃,the TC4 titanium alloy seamless tube presents the minimum dimension deviation,and the temperature difference between the outer surface and the inner surface as well the outer surface temperature difference can be obviously reduced;the tube has good temperature homogeneity;and the equivalent strains in different outlet positions are even,and there is almost no instability zone deformation.
