Abstract
The wall thickness of theΦ10.8 mm×0.5 mm NCu40-2-1 alloy tube is processed to 0.1~0.05 mm with the ball-spinning forming technology. It is found that the surface roughness of pipe fittings increases slowly with the increase of thinning reduction ratio and keeps at 0.2~0.3μm.After detecting the evolution of the tube's microtexture,it is revealed that once its wall-thickness reduction rate exceeds 80%,along with the increase of the reduction rate, the microtexture relative strength of the ball-spinning process-made ultra-thin walled tube presents a changing trend as first increasing and then decreasing.
