Research on Manufacturing Execution System Based on Steel Pipe Production Workshop

Described here in the paper is design architecture of the manufacturing execution system(MES)based on the steel pipe workshop.The demand functions of MES are analyzed,and the typical features of application of the system to the production line are elaborated.It is regarded via the analysis that the above mentioned newly-developed manufacturing execution system has got the pre-set designed functions realized;and thanks to the on-line application of the system,such objectives as scientific order management,material positioning and tracking,and real-time quality control are all realized so as to get the scientific decision-making ability of the enterprise enhanced.
