Present Development Situation of New Technology and New Application of Hot-rolled Steel Tube Production Line

Elaborated here in the paper are the technologies as developed and applied over the recent years for the hot-rolled steel tube production line,including the CC billet hot-transfer and hot-charge,specific-length billet supply,walking-beam billet heating furnace,model control for the process,integrated control center,on-line water-cooling and intelligent high-rise intermediate warehouse etc.Emphasized are the advantages and difficulties in application of each of the said technologies,and proposed are the suggestions for the design schemes.The spreading up of the said new technologies and their new applications shall bring about obvious effects on the hot-rolled steel tube production in such aspects as reducing fuel consumption and contaminant emission,enhancing production efficiency and yield,reducing job allocation and increasing the economic efficiency.
