Abstract
The mechanical properties of the X80 pipeline-purposed steel in different rolling directions are tested, and the microstructure morphologies and the texture information at different positions are analyzed. And the effects of the microstructure and the texture on the anisotropy of mechanical properties of the X80 steel are also discussed. The textures of the surface and the central plane of the X80 steel plate are different, and the 001<110> and 112<110> textures that have significant effects on the anisotropy of mechanical properties occupy a dominant position. The strengths in the direction of 0° with the rolling direction are all higher than those in 45° and 90° directions, while the impacts in 0° direction and 45° direction are close to each other, and both are greater than that in the 90° direction.
