    Development of UNS N10675 Alloy Seamless Tube for Anti-corrosion Device Service

    • The UNS N10675 alloy is made with the combined melting process of vacuum induction + vacuum selfconsumption. And then the round billet for tube-making is produced of the said alloy via the forging process. And with the round billet the UNS N10675 alloy seamless tube is successfully developed by means of the process of hot-extrusion + coldrolling + solution heat treatment. Relevant inspection results show that the processes as used to make the UNS N10675 alloy seamless tube are reliable, including melting, forging, hot-extrusion, cold-rolling and heat treatment;and the tube features good outer and inner surface quality, high OD and WT accuracies, the chemical composition up to the requirement as specified under applicable standard;the matrix of the tube is composed of equiaxed austenite grains, and the transversal and longitudinal average grain size is Class 7;and the 25~525 ℃ tensile performance, the Vickers hardness, the process performance and the corrosion resistance etc. are all excellent, being satisfactory to applicable requirements as made for the corrosion device.
