Study on Structure Performance of Low-temperature, Acid-resistant and High-pressure X65MS SAWH Pipe

Starting with the chemical composition design, the manufacturing process and the welding process, the low-temperature, acid-resistant and high-pressure X65MS SAWH weld pipe is developed. The mechanical properties and the corrosion resistance of the said weld pipe are tested. As a result it is demonstrated that both the base metal and the weld seam of the weld pipe possess good mechanical properties. And no crack is found with the pipe via the HIC and the SSC tests. Moreover the -29 ℃ low-temperature impact energy is much higher than what the customer requires, and in full compliance with applicable API requirement.
