    Effect of Solution Treatment on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of S30432 Stainless Steel Tube

    • The effects of different solution temperatures and solution durations on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the S30432 steel tube are investigated by means of metallurgical structure analysis,hardness test and room temperature tensile test. The test results show that the mechanical properties of the S30432 steel tube trend to decrease along with the increase of the solution temperature;the mechanical properties are optimal,when the solution temperature is 1 120 ℃;the austenite grain grows obviously,when the solution temperature is above 1 160 ℃;and the mechanical properties also get decreased along with the increase of the solution duration. Taking the grain size,the hardness and the mechanical properties into consideration,as for the massive production of the S30432 steel tube,the solution temperature should be controlled within the range of 1 100~1 160 ℃,and the solution duration should be limited to maximum 20 min.
