DISCUSSION ON HOW TO INCORPORATE STRETCH-REDUCING TECHNIQUE WITH WELD TUBE MILL

Pinpointing the perspectives as "Welded tubes to be seamless" and "Making seamless welded tubes", it is held that even after stretch-reducing treatment, weld tubes still have negative distinctions compared with seamless steel tubes in terms of some quality criteria. Also discussed in the paper are the factors responsible for impeding normal spreacl out of the weld-tube mill/stretch-reducing mill combined process. The writer holds that to ensure a healthy development of domestic weld tube industry, it is necessary to make the weld tube production developing more orderly and to adjust the equipment composition and product-mix more logically.
