EQUIPMENT AND PROCESS FEATURES OF Φ100mm ASSEL PIPE MILL PLANT

The co-authors described the equipment and process features of the Φ100mm Assel tube mill line introduced from Tubacex SA, Spain and the operation result thereof. Operational practice shows that tubes rolled by the said mill line have fine outernal finish and satisfactory internal surface without any kind of defect other than spiral marks caused by the Assel mill proper;that all the products have been up to relevant specifications for mechanical properties and yied of typical products are above 85%.
