Comment on Standard for Seamless Steel Pipe for Petroleum Cracking Service

Compared with correspondent international standards and similar foreign standards,the shortcomings of the prevailing Chinese national standard GB 9948-2006 Seamless Steel Pipe for Petroleum Cracking Service are analyzed. Accordingly,it is suggested to urgently conduct relevant amendments to the standard in order to keep its level improved continuously,and make addition of the steel types used for large-sized petrochemical facilities thereto in a bid to satisfy the needs for construction,operation and maintenance of domestic petrochemical plant engineering.
