Setting and Calculation of Speed Schedule of MPM

Based on assimilation of the math model for technological setting of the imported MPM,and use of the mill's process principles and relevant calculation means,methods for setting and calculation of the speed schedule thereof is established.The result shows that it is important for setting and calculation of the roll speed to define the pipe outlet sectional area and the working roll factor of each individual stand of the mill,and that setting of the mandrel speed should be based on such governing conditions as mandrel wear,stability of the rolling process and the position limitations.The above mentioned math model and calculation method are applicable to setting and calculation of the speed schedule of other similar mandrel mills.
