DEVELOPMENT AND STRUCTURE OF CONTINUOUS TUBE COLD-DRAWING MILL

The paper gives an introduction to the development of continuous tube cold-drawing mills and analysis of the working principles, structural features and application range of such mills as the chain type mill, the carriage mill, the carriage-chain type mill, the push drawbench and the mandrel mill. The advantages and disadvantages of the said continuous mills are compared. Also dealt with in the paper are the development and application of the continuous cold-drawing mills in the country.
