    Analysis and Solution of Slipping of Delivery Machine during Production of Spiral Welded Pipes

    • Analyzed in the article are the causes for slipping of the delivery machine during the manufacturing operation of the spiral welded pipe,and accordingly put forward are the countermeasures.Based on the analysis it is identified that factors responsible for the said delivery machine failure include over high excess weld metal at the butting area,steel plate uneven thickness,piping leakage,poor nitrogen supply to the accumulator,and unreasonable design of the machine’s hydraulic system.The countermeasures as proposed for fixing the slipping problem are proper determination of the weld process parameters,grinding the over high excess weld metal, increasing the delivery pressure,ensuring sufficient nitrogen supply to the accumulator,and modifying the delivery machine’s hydraulic system,etc.
