  • For communication with the local measuring instruments to perform seam temperature acquisition/ monitoring during the straight weld pipe manufacturing process,an automatic temperature/length-measuring system for straight welded pipe is developed by means of series communication technology,the self-designed data acquisition module,the hardware design with RS-485 network connected with microprocessor,the advanced Delphi programming language as well as user-oriented software developing technology,etc.Described in the article are the main aspects concerning the said system,including the hardware configuration,software design and data acquisition and functions.
