The characteristics of deformation zone, the influences of adjusting parameters on deformation as well as the constitution features of roll configuration are analysed based on a mathematical model of the relationship between roll configuration and deformation zone. And also a practical method of analysing steel pipe deformation during cross-rolling, and roll configuration design and its revision is provided.
