    Influence of Heat Treatment Temperature on Structure and Properties of Monel 401 Tube

    • The production and testing annealing treatments of Monel 401 tubes are introduced.The structure and properties of the as-cold-rolled Monel 401 tubes are analyzed,focusing on the influence of different annealing temperatures on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Monel 401 tubes.The analysis leads to the following conclusions.An as-cold-rolled Monel 401 tube has a fibrous structure,which will become more and more less when annealing temperature increases.At the annealing temperature of 700℃,a complete recrystallization happens and the fibrous structure disappears.When the annealing temperature rises from 550 to 600℃,the tensile strength,yield strength,hardness and elongation rate are basically the same.When the annealing temperature rises from 600 to 700℃,the tensile strength decreases slowly,the yield strength and hardness decreases rapidly,and the elongation rate also increases rapidly.When the annealing temperature is 650℃,a tube shows fairly good comprehensive properities and can meet the user’s requirements.
