    Development of Economical Oil Tubing BG110S-2Cr with Good H2S+CO2 Corrosion-resistant Properties

    • On the basis of Baosteel 3Cr series economical oil pipe steels which are used to resist H2S and(or)CO2 corrosion and according to the effect of Cr content on low alloy steels’mechanical properties, economical 110kpsi(758MPa)grade oil tubing BG110S-2Cr, which has good H2S+CO2 corrosion-resistant performance, has been developed successfully. The results showed that the mass produced tubing owned excellent ability of hydrogen sulphide stress corrosion(SSC)resistance. Furthermore, In simulated media of typical oil field, CO2 corrosion velocity of BG110S-2Cr was less than half that of common P110 tubing and casing.
