Research on Intermediate Frequency Induction Solution Treatment Furnace for Large-sized Welded Stainless Steel Pipe

    • Elaborated in the paper is a solution furnace employing the intermediate frequency induction technology for treatment of large-sized welded stainless steel pipes. This solution treatment system is capable of eliminating the stress and HAZ on both sides of the weld of the stainless steel pipe as generated during the forming and welding processes, and thus enhancing the corrosion resistance of the pipe. Focused on are issues such as the intermediate frequency rates and mains powers rather suitable for currently-used solution treatment process for welded stainless steel pipes, and experiences and problems concerning operation of the solution treatment systems, and some easy-to-do proposals for fixing the problems, and so on.
