Revival and Development of Russian Steel Tube Industry（Part Ⅰ）

Described in the paper are the major aspects concerning Russian steel tube industry, covering the general situation of the year of 2003, the demands for different product types over the recent years, import and export as well as the production, sales and technical upgrade with respect to the key manufacturers. Also discussed are the development prospect and characteristics of Russian steel tube industry, and the opportunities and challenges brought about by the exploitation of oil and natural gas resources and the construction of oil/gas pipe lines in the country.
